Best Quality Hotel Gran Mogol

Initial reaction was the hotel was very tired, a bit grotty and the room exceptionally small. However our major problem was around security. We left our cash and passports in the ‘SAFE’ ??? in our room.On arrival back to our room the evening before we left we were unable to gain access to our ‘SAFE’ it kept giving us an “Error’ code.We were able to access the safe at 11am that morning. We contacted the reception and the receptionist was able to gain access using the hotel master code. We then discovered that all the cash which was a considerable amount, was not there. We notified reception of this theft and requested to speak with a manager NONE available. We were informed to attend the police station to make Report. This was done and the theft is now under police investigation. We had an early check out the next day in order to make a flight. Apart from the theft and no communication from Management of the hotel, have to say our experience very unsatisfactory. I feel in my opinion that there are people within the hotel that have access to rooms and safes and must be checking all safes on a daily basis. I am posting the review as a ⚠️ warning to others.

A decent hotel with a fantastic location next to Porta Nuova. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The service is fantastic - super nice and understanding. It’s possible to leave your luggage in a storage for free - that is awesome. The rooms have everything you might need although some of the equipment seems obsolete (works fine though!)

Hotel was ok. My room was very small with single bed for about 110€ per night. Quite expensive. It was clean but everything very old. The bathroom smelled a bit like a wet dog. Breakfast was good and a reasonable choice possible. Staff was very friendly. And the location is very close to the main train station (2 minutes walk) and the old town/city center (5 minutes walk) In the night around 12, there where loud noises for a minute. Rest of the time reasonable quiet.

Lovely hotel, rooms are excellent, clean and modern. Breakfast was really good, with an excellent selection to choose from. Breakfast staff are lovely and very friendly. The reception staff are so nice and extremely friendly, made me feel very welcome, Doina the receptionist was amazing, so helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond her job remit to help me when I needed. Thank you so much x I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back x
